----- Original Message ----- From: "Tim Wood" <tlwood@iinet.net.au>I too have the GeForce4 420 Go in a Toshiba T2100.in the Readme file (you may need to get it from NVidia) there is a section giving options. Try adding the line below - just below the:Driver "nvidia" Option "IgnoreEDID" "true"On my laptop then hardware reports the wrong settings to the driver - which causes it to freeze.
thanx for suggestion i ve tried this but i still have the same problem i have a toshiba 2410-S203 i ve reboot on windows in order to test the hardware it works perfectly on games... but when i try to install windows last drivers from nvidia.com the driver reports me that i have no nvidia card on it ?! maybe it's an hardware problem that cause those freeze under linux with the nvidia driver. ....
