Is there any software on Debian that can be used for:

1. Calender: Keep track of appointments and alert at appropriate time

2. To-do lists: Maintain multiple to-do lists

Even if you don't have a PDA you could always use one of the front-ends to pilot-xfer. I have a Handspring Visor and I like jPilot. I don't see why you couldn't use jPilot, or gnome-pilot, or korganizer even without a PDA. In fact, korganizer only links with a PDA if you also have kpilot installed, otherwise, if I read the output from "apt-cache show korganizer" correctly, it provides the PIM functions, but does not link to a PDA.
