I note that libstdc++6 isn't in the Depends: field for opera, but you
are quite right:
$ ldd /usr/lib/opera/8.50-20050916.5/opera |grep c++
libstdc++.so.5 => /usr/lib/libstdc++.so.5 (0x4140e000)
I shall look into filing a bug on opera.
