That was the output from aptitude update.

I'll try again.

I have had a bit of success since.  Two mails came through mentioning
updates for php and mozilla, and apt/sources.list lines to use them.
Those mentioned in the php mail failed (as above).  Those in the
mozilla mail worked.

Or, perhaps this is more of the thing where you have to do, "apt-get
update && aptitude update ..."
