Hi Simon
I amended my sources.list as follows:
deb http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/pure64 sid main contrib
non-free
deb-src http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/pure64 sid main contrib
non-free
deb http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/pure64 experimental main contrib non-free
deb-src http://debian-amd64.alioth.debian.org/pure64 experimental main contrib non-free
# deb-src http://www.os-works.com/debian testing main
# deb http://www.kanotix.lxserv.de/debian ./
and everything updates OK but trying to reinstall xfce4 complains that
it can't find the package.
The 'kanotix' xfce4 version is for sarge but works fine on my system,
although I seem to have lost xfdesktop functionality suddenly for no
reason. I thought that if I installed the experimental version, I could
track down the problem and report a bug if necessary but I'm a bit
stymied at present.
Any advice?
Regards
Clive
