In Gmail, it seems that as soon as it hits a MIME-encapsulated part,
the rest of the plain text isn't displayed. For GPG-signed messages,
the signature causes the standard Debian .sig to be suppressed, since
it's added afterwards. Some clients seem to use "text/plain" and
"quoted-printable", the latter causing Gmail to omit the plain-text
.sig. YMMV.
