Re: Writing to SMB share fails from some applications



Thank you Clive,

I finally found out that my setup is working with smbfs and NOT with
cifs.
I'm pretty sure this is a CIFS bug, since there is no way of getting the
setup working with it; as you explained before, the problem is showing
up only with openoffice and kwrite and not with any other program.
If any of you is interested in the configuration details, please let me
know.
