Sorry; I should have googled first.

I see that Directory sread failed may indicate a bad disk or a floppy
that's out of the drive.  I did still have the floppy drive mounted,
though it was empty.  I've since umounted it.

Can anyone confirm or deny that the preceding messages all result from
an empty floppy drive?
