RE: nfs

I have got a bit further

If I specify /home/share/ tecra:(ro)

and tecra is in hosts then it mounts fine, what I cannot do is specify a 130.195/24 or 130.195/16 network...

any ideas please?

regards

Steven

Subject: nfs

I am trying to mount a nfs share between laptop and server.

exports has

/home/share/ 130.195.0.0/255.255.0.0(ro)

exportfs shows it as being exported, iptables is disabled, no firewalling.

all the directories are 0777 permissions, yet even doing a local mount server to itself fails with reason given by server: Permission denied in the logs.

Anybody got an idea where to start looking for such an issue?

thanks

Steven
