unluckily, this just brings up the same error:

pluto:/usr/local/bin# dpkg-reconfigure console-data
Looking for keymap to install:
de-latin1-nodeadkeys
Deferring virtual terminal setup until console accessible.
pluto:/usr/local/bin#
