You need to either get the mach64 drivers from the GATOS project or the
dri packages for mach64 from

deb http://people.debian.org/~daenzer/dri-mach64-sid/ ./ 

there are three packages, for dri you will need to compile the kernel
module, but XV should work out of the box.
