Question about installing nvidia driver

Hi all,

I have upgraded my kernel to 2.6.5, and try to install the nvidia driver. I have tried to use the nvidia-installera and doing extracting the driver and then make install, but both methods fail.

Here is the log file when I install through nvidia-installer.

nvidia-installer log file '/var/log/nvidia-installer.log'

'/var/log/nvidia-installer.log' for details. You may find suggestions
on fixing installation problems in the README available on the Linux
      driver download page at www.nvidia.com.

I cannot find a method to solve the problem "ERROR: Unable to determine the NVIDIA kernel module filename.", any suggestion?
