Fwd: bash and sshd hang

 Hi.
 
 When I close my xterm with alt-f4 , remote sshd &&
 bash hang every time and sshd starts to eat
 processor
 and memory:

 when i look with 'top' then sshd process(es) are on
 top, eating 40-50% of processor, load is high etc..
 
 what could be the problem?
 

sshd is ver 3.8
