Hrm, here at least... printing with "Postscript/default" /does/ shows up
in cups as a job for default printer (named lp)... 
I am running Sid for what its worth.

(Even if it doesn't go to cups default, my printer groks postscript.)

Laserjet 4+ with 32M of ram, Postscript, and JetDirect best $150USD I 
have ever spent. I saw one yesterday for $40USD plus the 50-something
for shipping (it had the duplexer </me wants>, the duplexer alone goes for
about $100USD...
