Slackware to Debian migration
I just migrated from Slackware 8 to Debian Woody. In Slackware, in order to
synch my Palm Tungsten T2 I upgraded to the 2.4.25 kernel and
module-init-tools 3.0. In Woody, I did the same thing, using the same
kernel config file when building the kernel, and even installed the latest
hotplug scripts (2004-03-29), but still can't get sync to work. The log
shows the PDA connect to the USB port, but does not show it binding.
I have an old Handspring Visor, too, and that syncs just fine. The log
shows it binding to ttyUSB0. I don't get the "binding" message with the T2.
Is there another package I need to upgrade? This setup seemed to work fine
on Slack.
