I have friends that used to work in Disney Animation (they got
transferred to Disney World to be Imagineers, at least). They did.
The last theatrical release from Disney Animation will be Home on the
Range, and the last direct-to-video is Lion King 1.5.
A lot of people on the furry newsgroups were quite upset about it,
moreso than when Fox declared Titan A.E. a horrible bomb and outright
fired everybody at Fox Animation and closed the studio.
