You'll never see a Woody CD with 2.6.  Stable means "stable", it isn't going
to change.

You can use a backported dpkg package to install 2.6 once you have a stable
(Woody) system running -- see www.apt-get.org for sites.  Or you can compile
y our own.

If your system only has RAID drives to install on, you have a difficult
problem.
