Say, apt-get dist-upgrade --print-uris makes lines with URL FILE SIZE MD5. What are the bad things that might happen if I just use wget to get the URLs, without using the FILEname? I intend to use dpkg-scanpackages later. Hopefully the URLs are OK on Windows and CDROMs too, which I might need to use for downloading (-- too little bandwidth at home.)
