Re: apache won't start although no errors

I too am having similar problems.
executing /etc/init.d/apache start
shows no errors. But apache isn't running. No telnet response on port 80. Nothing.
Although apache-ssl works fine.
apachectl configtest on my machine also results in "Syntax OK".
plz help.
