Not really, no. There are plenty of list headers which are specified by an RFC that has been around for years.
<http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2369.html>So anyone who CCs off the list is doing so with a client that isn't up on a 5-year-old RFC that all modern mailing lists I've run into support and are too lazy to delete one line and change another (as I must seeing as I am currently using such a client). I'd find it rather amusing if said people also actually took the time to quote properly. :)
