problems upgrading libstdc++2.10-dev on unstable

I just upgraded a whole pile of packages on my unstable workstation. I have
been using:
dselect update
dselect install
to initiate the upgrade process.

I used to use:
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
but because of a problem with libxrender1 I switched to the dselect method.
See:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2003/debian-user-200309/msg02782.html
for more information.

When I tried to upgrade this "whole pile of packages" today I received the
following error for the libstdc++2.10-dev package:

Setting up libstdc++2.10-dev (2.95.4-18) ...
sh: line 1: /usr/share/info/iostream-2.95.info.gz: No such file or directory
install-info(/usr/share/info/iostream-2.95.info.gz): read gzip -cd
</usr/share/I

Some errors occurred while unpacking. I'm going to configure the
packages that were installed. This may result in duplicate errors
or errors caused by missing dependencies. This is OK, only the errors
above this message are importaint. Please fix them and run [I]nstall again

Does anyone have any ideas here? I used dselect to completely remove the
libstdc++2.10-dev package as well as the g++-2.95 package. I then
reinstalled both of these packages and received the same error.

Thanks for your time.

Michael
