Well, at my sid system here, rsh is a symlink to ssh via the
alternatives system.

01:26 nick@balrog:~$ which rsh
/usr/bin/rsh
01:26 nick@balrog:~$ file /usr/bin/rsh
/usr/bin/rsh: symbolic link to /etc/alternatives/rsh
01:26 nick@balrog:~$ file /etc/alternatives/rsh
/etc/alternatives/rsh: symbolic link to /usr/bin/ssh
