SV: Kernel problem

I have search the list now and found out that it might be a known DMA
problem that came...

It messes up...

2.4.x
-------
PIIX4: IDE controller on PCI bus 00 dev 39
PIIX4: chipset revision 1
PIIX4: not 100% native mode: will probe irqs later
    ide0: BM-DMA at 0x1440-0x1447, BIOS settings: hda:pio, hdb:DMA
hda: SunDisk SDTB-128, ATA DISK drive
ide0 at 0x1f0-0x1f7,0x3f6 on irq 14
hda: 31360 sectors (16 MB) w/1KiB Cache, CHS=490/2/32 ide-floppy driver
0.97.sv Partition check:
 hda:
--/2.4.x

And down here it handles it correctly

--2.2.x

everything I've looked at does not mention runing 2.4.x on this piece of
equipment. if you really need 2.4.x I reccomend looking for another
product, research first, post to some embedded linux mailing lists,
before purchasing.

chances are 2.4.x is not compadible. Bluecat linux runs on that but it
too runs 2.2.x.
