Followup: Need bttv options for Hauppauge WinTV-PCI-FM

Some places on the net and in my local docs mention a CARDLIST file, that I'm supposed to check
for the card= option for bttv.
On my Debian Woody system, a file of that name is nowhere. Is there a place on the net where that
file can be found?

Also, I'm getting more confused about /etc/modules .
Is the order of appearance in the /etc/modules important?

I have bttv in there, but /var/log/messages show this on startup:

Dec 4 21:55:13 continuity kernel: bttv: driver version 0.7.83 loaded
Dec 4 21:55:13 continuity kernel: bttv: using 2 buffers with 2080k (4160k total) for capture
Dec 4 21:55:13 continuity kernel: bttv: Host bridge is Intel Corp. 440LX/EX - 82443LX/EX Host
bridge
Dec 4 21:55:13 continuity kernel: bttv: Host bridge needs ETBF enabled.

Is this ETBF thing the PCI interrupt sharing bugginess complaint? With my old bt848 card, I
believe this didn't show up, but what DID show up was a message which precise card was
indentified, and I'm missing that now.
At any rate, the loading fails (lsmod doesnt list bttv).

When I say (as root):
continuity:~# modprobe bttv
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: init_module: No such device
Hint: insmod errors can be caused by incorrect module parameters, including invalid IO or IRQ
parameters
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: insmod
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o failed
/lib/modules/2.4.18-bf2.4/kernel/drivers/media/video/bttv.o: insmod bttv failed

Does this say the machine thinks the module is not available or no apropriate (hardware) device
for the module is available?
The module definitely is in /lib/modules/.../bttv.o .

These are my current options:

post-install bttv insmod tuner
post-remove bttv rmmod tuner
alias char-major-81	bttv
options i2c verbose=1 scan=1 i2c_debug=0
options bttv card=10 pll=1

I'm beginning to wish I had kept the other card (the audio was very noisy and had a static hum,
but at least I could watch TV).
