Thanks, that did the trick.  gv still barfs on it, but gs displays it
just fine, and it prints fine, which is all I wanted.  I just wanted to
put a resume on line in a cross platform format, and this seems to have
done the trick.  Now I can put it up as postscript or pdf or whatever.
