They are apt-gettable via: deb http://marillat.free.fr/ unstable main and are available for several different cpus. That said, MPlayer is still a very *system specific* program, and still likes to know just what it is dealing with, particularly for the best display, decoding and choice of input sources, and so you may find "rolling your own" provides a bit better functionality for you - although be forewarned, it requires a significant number of -dev packages to be able to build with all of the functionality. -- Mark L.
