A fixed version for stable is available in the package pool as version
1.4.6-1woody1, which can be found at:

  http://ftp.debian.org/pool/main/g/gnome-pim

This version will make it into Debian 3.0p1 and will be available by
"apt-get update; apt-get upgrade" from stable at this point.
