RE: File Manager Suggestions?
Something that works like Windows Explorer, with full details in the right
hand window (permissions/users/groups). Actually Gentoo looks very good, if
I can get the thing installed.

You're looking for a Windows Explorer replacement, right?
The closest I have found is:
