RE: On Learning Debian



In most cases the current kernels support USB very well, I don't
particularly see a problem.  If installing woody, you'd need to do a "bf24"
install to have inbuilt USB support in the kernel.  The older 'stable'
default kernel may not have USB support (correct me if i'm wrong guys, i'm
not sure if Debian patches stuff like that into the kernel, or if it uses
stock standard kernels).

May I pop in this thread? - Jaye, was this USB2.0?

I'm very intersested for the near future in getting a debian system on a 
USB mashine without any
PS/2 devices and I have no idea if Woody would install on this?
