Okay. I am just recompiling to see what I get - after the 'make
install', I restarted xmms, went into preferences, and the second line
of the Input Plugins reads:
AVI player for XMMS 1.2.3 [libavixmms.so]
and is marked as enabled. You did use 'make install' to put it in
/usr/lib/xmms/Input, I hope? It generally works for me, except that it
doesn't want to handle MPEG video, but it seems to handle wmv and asf
files fine - so long as they are local - the streaming ones I've tried
so far don't seem to respond.
Otherwise, I have to wonder what you have in your /usr/lib/xmms/Input
directory - in case something is missing...
