Radeon 9700 Pro, Vesa, and Debian
I was thinking of purchasing a Radeon 9700 Pro for use in a second
Windows XP gaming machine. I would also like to have a partition with a
debian setup. Would it be possible to use this video card with the VESA
driver? Are most current video cards VESA compliant? I understand that
there may not be a linux driver available for some time, but would like
to be able to use the card with basic 2D functionality.
