XFree4.2.0-0pre1v3 and Rage 128 (TX)

I'm using a new Rage 128 (TX) with the experimental xserver-xfree 
4.2.0-0pre1v3 and a stock 2.4.19-k7 kernel on a (mostly) woody 
system.  I'm loading the aggart and r128 modules from the kernel.  
Using the r128 driver from the xserver.

It appears that the dri module is not properly loading as it has on 
previous incarnations of this card.

Relevant portions of /var/log/XFree86.0.log are below:

(EE) R128(0): [dri] R128DRIScreenInit failed because of a version 
mismatch.
[dri] r128..o kernel module version is 2.1.8 but version 2.2 or 
greater is needed.
[dri] Disabling the DRI.

Is there something I can do to enable DRI for this card?
