That was one of my first thoughts too. I've got all of my audio files in
MP3 format, good or bad.
Otherwise, if the xmms people make the mp3 portion a plug-in, and Debian
makes it seperate, once I download xmms and xmms-mp3-plugin (??), any
"upgrade" via apt-get will continue to get "new" plugins for me, so I'm
not too concerned.
