I've been using Sylpheed for a while now, mainly because I haven't found
anything better. However, there are a few features Sylpheed doesn't have
support for:
- Setting Mail-Followup-To on submission to a list
- Honoring Mail-Followup-To on an e-mail
- Reply to List
I see these as pretty essential. I've hacked the latter two into
Sylpheed, but it's just that, a hack. It's not pretty, and I'm sure that
someone else could do them better. Plus, I'd like to have my MUA client
natively support these rather than having to maintain a patch for them.
TMK, mutt supports all of these. However, I've yet to be able to feel
comfortable using mutt as my mail client. I've tried a few times, but I
always end up giving up after a while. I'm sure it's just my
unfamiliarity with mutt and how things are done. After all, there appear
to be so many mutt users out there, and I don't think my desired
configuration is really all that complex or strange. I've just never
found a way to do it.
Is there perchance a kind hearted mutt user that would be willing to help
draw my sorry behind through how to use/configure mutt? Sometimes a
helping hand is more useful than a manual.
