Maple8 installation with LAX/Java

Hil all !

Since a while I have tried to install
Maple8 on my Debian/Linux (potato) box:
the LAX installer uses Java stuff.

I get the error  message

Unable to locate the application's 'main' class. The class 
'com.zerog.ia.installer.Main' must be public and have a 'public static 
void main(String[])' method. (LAX)

I guess that the error is very basic,
but I cannot fix it.
