While the debs are available I'd strongly suggest compiling from source to a) comply with the wishes of the developers and b) get better performance by compiling specifically for your architecture. It's already prepared for a debian install anyway. Just get the sources (preferably CVS), and from the main directory type "debian/rules binary" and let it sit for a while. It'll compile and make a deb for you all in one step. -Alex
