OT: can't apply 2.4.19-low-latency.patch, strange patch format?

Hi,

since 2.4.19 Andrew Morton's low latency patches (at
http://www.zip.com.au/~akpm/linux/) have changed their structure. All
low latency patches < 2.4.19 have applied without a problem for me. But
suddenly, diff lines like that are in it:

--- 2.4.19/fs/reiserfs/stree.c~low-latency      Wed Aug 14 14:44:30 2002
+++ 2.4.19-akpm/fs/reiserfs/stree.c     Wed Aug 14 14:44:30 2002

Of course, in the original kernel source there is no such file as
stree.c~low-latency, just stree.c, and the patch consequently refuses to
apply.
If never seen something like that, but I'm sure there is some trick. (As
a kludge I've naively tried to delete all occurences of ~low-latency in
the patch. Then the patch applies, but I get a second kernel dir,
2.4.19-akpm, that only has the include directory in it. Seems not to be
the solution, either :)

Thanks
