For the printer, you can either install lprng or cupsys. I'd recommend
going with cupsys (CUPS) as it's easier to configure.
For the Ensoniq, do an "lspci" and see if it reports if it's an ES1370
or ES1371 (or something else - I'm assuming it's one of these two). Then
type "modprobe es137x" (where x = 1 or 0). If that installs without
errors, try playing something (restart KDE, or fire up xmms and play an
ogg, or play an ogg via splay, etc). If that works, you can add "es137x"
to "/etc/modules" to automatically modprobe this module on future reboots.
