How often does mutt check for new mail itself (not my fetchmail setting) so that an "N" shows up in my index view next to the applicable folder ?? I've got a gnome applet that spins when I've got new mail, but when I go to mutt and even change folder views, no "N" shows up. If I go into my 'debian' folder though, there are new messages. Thanks in advance Hall
