Should I report "offline system" BUGS?

First, thanks for all previous useful replies that I have
received from this list.
I have got a new PC at home, which is **OFFLINE**. I only
have got CD#1 and CD#2 of woody. In case a package is missing
(contrib or non-free or other); I have to fetch the missing
package at the office (which is on the net). Unfortunately,
using "dpkg -i" could be as awful as using "rpm".
Since every package is in the same pool, sometimes I mistakenly
fetch a wrong package (of another dists). Moreover, it is not so easy
to find out where the virtual packages are. Once in a while,
dpkg "crashes". But, the errors are not always reproducible,
both at home or a the office.
Question:
- I am offline at home, and therefore I have no access to the
bug repository. Should I report the bugs when I am at office
(the day after)?
PS: BTW, may I know where the 450 kb magic number of dpkg-split
came from? Why not 360? or 720?
Thank you,
