"kernel: DMA write timed out" while printing
So I'm printing a .ps file with lpr. I get the first three pages of
the file, and then nothing. Console shows:
Aug 15 16:54:34 mi kernel: lp0: using parport0 (interrupt-driven).
Aug 15 16:54:39 mi kernel: lp0: ECP mode
Aug 15 16:54:57 mi kernel: DMA write timed out
Aug 15 16:55:32 mi last message repeated 2 times
What's going on? This used to work. Any way to test the printer
hardware given that I can't print .ps files with lpr? Running kernel
2.4.18 (kernel.org, not Debian's). Printer connected to /dev/lp0 via a
parallel port ZIP drive (which works fine).
