KDE and middle mouse button

Hi,
I used to be able to use my Left and Right mouse button
together to copy and paste text in emacs/ xterm etc.

Now after a reinstall that functionality has gone. 
Can someone point me to the files/tools which are required
to get it done,
I use kde and woody and my window manager is sawfish.
