You'll have to ask the person who says he's working on it. In this case
that is Takashi Okamoto <toraneko@kun.ne.jp>.
It seems that there is a licensing problem though ...

I'd say take your pick. If the .rpm works OK for you on Red Hat, there's
probably no reason not to convert it with alien.
