Just installed Debian on a PC that has a firewire adapter and an external disk. I was wondering ... how hard is it to access the drive from Linux, and how dangerous would it be? I looked at the linux1394 Web site, and it says that 1394 support is experimental. How experimental, though? And has anyone had luck with this on Debian? I looked through old messages and firewire/1394 is mentioned very infrequently ... Thanks! Jen
