Has anyone else had problems compiling the 2.4.18 kernel with sid?

As I ask I realise, a silly thing to try ...

[A whole pile of depmod errors...]
make[2]: *** [_modinst_post] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18'
make[1]: *** [real_stamp_image] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernel-source-2.4.18'

This seems to be a problem with the modutils in Debian. Try upgradingmodutils to 2.4.19.
