I think Windows is not that good. It is not very stable, updates take mutch time and are very costly
and if you want more special things you most of the time have a problem.
If you want something special in Linux, most of the time you have youre (internet-)answer
within the hour (Thanx Christian! :-) ). And maybe most of all: Linux does not have one (Gates-)person getting richer 
every minute of the year.
It's not Windows itself I dislike, but most of all the system behind it.

Yes, a client.

Christian,
Thanks for all your advice. This is what I want to know.

I will try to set things up with reading the manpages.
Sometimes I have some trouble to figure out what software I need where to
reach my goals.
