umount crashes on shutdown
Howdy List,
I just upgraded my Debian 2.2r6 box to 3.0 a couple of weekends ago.
After getting everything running fairly well, I decided to try upgrading
my kernel to 2.4.18 to see what new features it contained. I did the
usual make menuconfig, make dep, make bzImage, make modules and finally
make modules_install, and everything seemed to go pretty well. However,
now whenever I reboot or shut down my computer, I noticed that umount
crashes and gives me a stack trace. It appears to properly umount
everything before crashing, as I'm not getting any error msgs. when I
boot back up, but it's still kinda annoying. Does anyone have any idea
what might be causing this?
TIA,
Jacob
