RE: Low sound - ac'97
And one more thing to check...
It might not be the software. I had a set (popular brand name) of speakers
with an 8 Ohm input impedance. When I upgraded to a newer sound card it
assumed that the speakers it would attach to would be not only powered but
also have a high impedance. It finally dawned on me and I went out and
bought some newer (but still cheap) speakers. Everything worked really well
after that.
It also happened to someone else I had to help out.
Cheers,

Subject: Low sound - ac'97
I've managed to get my AC'97 onboard soundcard installed, but the sound is
very low, even at max. How can i fix that?
Thank you,
