Woody courier imap shared folder problems

Hi,

I'm trying to setup some shared IMAP folders under woody's courier-imap
package a-la http://www.inter7.com/courierimap/README.sharedfolders.html

Everything works as expected (using maildirmake.courier) right down to
using the --add option which creates "shared-maildirs" but not
"shared-folders". No error output is produced, and the folders cannot be
subscribed to.

If anyone can help, please do. Is woody's courier-imap dysfunctional?
