I'm wondering why there are people who get flash working and other
who not.

I got the same problem but with the snapshot of 30. May Mozilla/5.0
(X11; U; Linux i686; de-AT; rv:1.0.0+) Gecko/20020530 and flash
5.0 r48, even if the swf doesn't content audio. The soundcard is
initialised, but the mixerapp isn't working.
Sound Driver:3.8.1a-980706 (ALSA v0.9.0beta10 emulation code)
Kernel: Linux debian 2.4.18 #1 Mon May 6 16:36:07 CEST 2002 i686
Type 10: ALSA emulation
Ensoniq AudioPCI ES1371 at 0xdc00, irq 11
0: ES1371 DAC2/ADC (DUPLEX)
Synth devices: NOT ENABLED IN CONFIG
Midi devices: 0: ES1371
7: system timer
0: mixer00

Is it now an audio/soundcard issue or not? How to check
configuration and installation (I used the tarball) to avoid
confusion. Perhaps it's me and not a bug?

Any suggestions are appreciate.

regards

gerhard

ps: sorry about my poor english
